Can you believe (at the time of writing) there are only 42 days left until Christmas (and counting!) which means as a business you don’t have long to get any marketing materials together ready to hit the ground running in the New Year.

If you’re working to a marketing plan it can sometimes be difficult to maintain momentum throughout the year, particularly if some elements run over time or budget; so by the last quarter you can find yourself running to catch up, especially if you have client Christmas campaigns and staff parties to organise at this time of the year as well.

But if you miss your Q4 marketing deadlines, you’ll start 2016 behind schedule and spend the rest of the year running to catch up. Or you may even find your marketing budget cut – or at least frozen – if you’ve not spent your total budget for this year.
